The second method, Two Point Calibration, is performed by setting the MIST to a known point in the operating range and then recording this point by simply clicking the corresponding button. The next step is to set the MIST to a second known point in the operating range and record it in the same manner. Finally, by clicking on the “Process” button, the calibration parameters are automatically calculated and saved in the MIST memory.

The MIST software can also be used to re-scale the MIST sensor output within its operational limits. A choice of many pre-scaled values is offered, as well as a custom range. Once the range is selected, simply clicking on the “Set” button will automatically re-scale the output of the MIST and save the new values in the MIST memory.

The Intempco MIST PKIT-1 Programming Module and Software kit includes calibration software on a CD-ROM, a communication module with RS-232, and a 110 VAC wall adapter.
